About Acorn
Richard Walden, the proprietor of Acorn Auto Services, started training to be an Auto Electrician back in 1986. After working for a local firm for 7 years, in 1993 he decided to be his own boss and Acorn Auto Electrics was born! Richard successfully ran Acorn Auto Electrics on his own for the following 14 years.
In 2007 Richard knew the time was right to expand his flourishing business, he decided to branch out and open his own MoT centre and garage, keen to maintain his reputation for excellent service at reasonable prices Richard knew he had to find a reliable experienced Mechanic to come on board. Dave had 20 years experience at both main dealership level and in smaller garages, latterly at a garage specialising in VW/Audi’s, and was perfect for the job. With 40+ years experience between them there’s not much they can’t do!
